Designing Details

Just a quick post about the style details that go into producing the world's clothes. It is in the these details that we see great fashion either rise or fall. Bad fabrics or cheap zippers can break a brand really quickly and it is hard to rebuild your name in the fickle world of fashion. Keeping an eye on details is key. My best example of this is the thumb hole seen here. It seems harmless and somewhat superfluous. However, it is brilliant and adds a touch of cool to an otherwise boring piece of clothing. Almost glove-like yet attached giving you an extra bit of warmth. Someone was really thinking when creating the functionality of this sweatshirt and unlike so many erroneously drafted designs, it really works.
